Pharmacy
A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is a four-year undergraduate
program that educates students on drug synthesis, dosage
formulation, chemical analysis of medications, and preclinical
testing of new drugs. In addition to covering technical aspects of
pharmacy, B.Pharma also includes topics related to pharmaceutical
product marketing and drug patenting. Admission to B.Pharma
programs is based on both entrance exams and merit. Various
entrance exams such as UPSEE, GPAT, and NEET are conducted to
admit students to B.Pharma courses. The basic eligibility criteria
for B.Pharma require students to have cleared the Class 12 board
exam with mandatory subjects including Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, and Mathematics, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
